As a company with over 40 years in the photographic industry we believe in giving our customers the very best in quality products.  With continued investment in new technologies and equipment we are now able to offer Giclée Fine Art Prints on a range of media.

Giclée is the name given for making fine art prints from a digital source using high quality ink jet printing.  For further information regarding Giclée have a look at Wikipedia. We can produce superb quality colour and black & white prints using the very latest 8 colour ink set with three black inks and Vivid Magenta together with improved image-processing technology.  Our Giclée fine art prints are colour fast for 100 years giving you peace of mind that a our quality will last a life time.

Using our StudioPartner software you can quickly and easily drag and drop your images into a wide range of templates.  Simply select the type of media you would like the image printed on and leave the rest to us.  Feel free to contact us to discuss this new service from Colorworld.

Giclée prints on canvas, watercolor or other substrates will make photos and paintings jump out with deep blacks, saturation and gradations hard to achieve with other media

To ensure that we can produce the very best print for you we recommend that you save your image in sRGB colorspace at 300dpi.

To achieve the perfect print we use individual colour profiles for each type of paper that we print on.  We also use a high quality ink jet printer with professional grade nozzles.

We offer both bordered and unbordered prints allowing you choose how you want to present your work with print sizes up to 60"x40".  Bordered prints contain a 50% grey stroke around the image with a 2-3 inch border depending on the size of the print. e.g a 20x16 bordered print will have a 16x12 image printed with a 2 inch white border.

We are able to produce fine art Giclée prints from digital files, negatives, transparencies and even original artwork.

Our fine art prints can be printed on the following paper stocks

Fine Art Museum Torchon Paper

Fine Art Etch Paper - 300gsm acid free etching paper.  'Etch' is a mould made traditional fine art paper with a special matt coating making it ideal for images which are highly detailed.
